The Making of a Mosaic Mural

              Onondaga Hill Middle School is fortunate  to be able to create a mosaic mural, once again. We are

working with visiting artists, Ginger Dunlap-Dietz, Jo Beth Lehrer, and Susan VanHoven. This is a service

learning project that will combine the efforts of all sixth grade students and the studio art students. The theme

of the mural is hunger and homelessness. Each student will create a tile that represents the theme.

The faculty will also create tiles as well. The image of the whole mural will be created from student sketches.

terrific experience possible.
